Support your team, clients, or community with Drug and Alcohol First Aid (DAFA) training

Our facilitators are qualified and experienced Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) clinicians, ready to share their knowledge and expertise with you through our Drug and Alcohol First Aid (DAFA) training.

Our DAFA Digital training course equips you to:

  • develop foundational knowledge of alcohol and drug harms
  • understand treatment and support options available
  • understand the myths and facts around problematic AOD use
  • assist with reducing stigma in the community
  • increase early help-seeking.

What do I get?

After you've finished your DAFA Digital course, you'll get a certificate of completion. You'll also gain practical knowledge of alcohol and other drugs first aid, which may help you within the workplace and your community.

How long is DAFA online training?

Our full Drug and Alcohol First Aid Digital Training course contains seven modules, or you can complete our Foundation course which has one module. Allow around 30 minutes for the Foundation course, and 5 hours to complete the full course. You can save your progress and come back at any time.
